The first milestone has now been post poned often and now, the current date is only 2 weeks away. While reviewing some parts of the project I decided to adhere to our first milestone. Therefore this means that on February 02, 2009 a first pre-alpha version will be ready.

This version will still be a very basic version but the goal is to contain all the basic InSim remote controlling features. It will not contain a setup assistant and no FTP access and it will also be no publically available release (except when downloading a SVN snapshot). But when we can keep that milestone, this is a sign, that the project continues well and we achieved a first goal.

One optional thing we are planning for this milestone: a demo system for you to get a first look into LFS WebControl. The next version then will be the full Alpha version codenamed Phenol which will be publically released.

From now on our repository has a new structure. All external libraries etc. have been moved to a seperate folder "/external_libraries/". All sources of our project have been moved to "/sources/".

This was need to make a checkout of our repository without for example Zend Framework or Prototype. Besides the fact that this is the much cleaner and better way, it also has the advantage of not disturbing our ohloh.com software metrics with code that is not being written by us.

However those "externals" will be checked out, too, since they have been linked as svn externals. So if you wish to get the sources for LFS WebControl you should check out from https://lfswebcontrol.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/lfswebcontrol/sources/

Yepp, we did it! We finally start this as our new project homepage since nothing of that kind did exist before for this project.
